Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) hereby requests letters of interest and statements of qualifications from engineering firms interested in providing professional consulting services for a retrocommissioning project for up to five buildings on the Edwardsville campus, SIUE. The retrocommissioning program for SIUE is expected to include a complete review of the original system’s building plans as well as current field conditions and operating protocols of the HVAC systems, including the interface with the campus chilled water system. Outcome results are expected to include documentation of existing conditions, recommendations for system repairs and/or upgrades, establishment of the optimum operating protocols including appropriate documentation and operator training, and documentation of the savings generated through the program. This is a follow up to the pilot program that was recently completed.
