The successful Bidder(s) must provide temporary personnel to satisfy the needs of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, including the Edwardsville campus, the School of Dental Medicine in Alton, and the East St. Louis Higher Education Campus. Temporary personnel should meet the minimum Classifications Descriptions, based on the position being filled. The University prefers to award to one vendor; however, the University reserves the right to award by position, if deemed to be in the best interest of the University. Pricing needs to be submitted on each and every position and not as a partial bid. The requirement for temporary personnel is based upon historic utilization and the estimated future needs of campus departments. Bidders are advised that SIUE will not guarantee any minimum utilization or expenditure with any contractor during the proposed contract period. SIUE reserves the right to request temporary employees for classifications other than those described in Enclosed position descriptions.
The services will be provided during the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 with the option for renewal under the same terms and conditions during the periods July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014 (Option I); July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 (Option II); July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 (Option III); and July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. The University intends to award one single contract as a result of this Request for Quote to assure coverage for the University. However, if it is in the best interest of SIUe to award multiple contracts, SIUe reserves the right to do so.
Due to the nature of the services and the Bidder must have an existing, functioning office which has employees readily available within a fifty mile radius of the Edwardsville campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
