for multi-point conferencing unit. SIU School of Medicine wishes to acquire an Accord MGC-100 Multi-point Conferencing Unit/Gateway. The requirements are as follows: 16 slot Rack Mountable MGC-100 Multipoint Control Unit/Gatway. Supporting 16 sites at 768 Kbps (H.320) over T1 PRI Switched Network facilities with Bondng; 6 sites at 768 Kbps. (H.323) over Ethernet IP 10/100 Autosensing Network Interface. 12 sites of continuous presence with twenty-one different screen layouts support (up to 768 Kbps). 12 sites of Multi-Way Transcoding to support videoconferencing end points with variable transmission rates, variable frame rates, variable G.XXX audio algorithms, and/or variable video resolutions (H.261/H.263,CIF/QCIF up to 768 Kbps). Conference Management Software with reservations and scheduling. Virtual conference suite. Redundant power supplies with automatic load balancing. All power supplies and modules are "HOT Swappable." Web commander professional. Supports 24 audio participants on MCU. Total port count not to exceed 24.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
