The University awarded a contract for modification to BSL3 laboratory control system to Johnson Controls Incorporated, Charlotte, NC, for $40,407.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
item or service is copyrighted or patented and is not available except from the holder of the copyright or patent.
The existing Building Automation System by Johnson Controls requires a sequence of operation changes to the BSL3 Laboratory for safety and operation control as required to pass Center for Disease Control testing. Johnson Controls Building Automation System is a priority system that currently operates the building and only Johnson Controls can make the changes.
