The University awarded a contract for a Chemicon ATA 100 Advanced Tissue Arrayer to Chemicon International for $46,696.00.
Unique features of the ATA 100 can only be provided by the Chemicon equipment. The design of the ATA 100 allows for the high throughput assembly of custom tissue microarrays. It can core tissue blocks in a wide range of tissue core sizes, is precise in the cutting of tissue cores, and is highly accurate in tissue delivery and assembly of TMA paraffin blocks. The advanced features of the ATA 100 instrument allow for the manufacturing of TMAs characterized by highly accurate sample delivery with superior preservation of tissue architecture.
