The University awarded a contract for a video eye tracking system to Micromedical Technologies for $29,700.
The VisualEyes System is the only available computerized, non-invasive eye tracking system that is capable of tracking the direction and quantifying the speed of eye movements and also monitoring voluntary gaze in a defined visual field. The capabilities of the system are ideally matched to the experimental study of ataxia, opsoclonus, and supranucelar gaze palsies. The goggles used in the VisualEyes System can be fit with a telemetry camera to monitor visual exploration of the environment during gait testing.
