for professional/legal services for the evaluation, preparation, and filing of patent applications. Legal services are required beginning July 1, 1999, to conduct patent searches; evaluate patentability; and prepare, file and prosecute all patent applications for inventions and/or discoveries of faculty members. The University's goal is to define inventions and claims, and evaluate and submit patent applications and other related patent documents in a form acceptable to the Panent and Trademark Office of the United States of America or other patent authorities to gain issuance of patents.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
