SIU School of Medicine is soliciting this Request for Information (RFI) for an architect/engineer to recommend to the Capital Development Board (CDB) to provide design and construction supervision services for a state of the art Cancer Institute Facility in Springfield, Illinois. The School desires to construct a facility consisting of approximately 60,000 gross square feet to provide clinical diagnostic and treatment services, conduct basic and clinical cancer research and support education programs for the community.

All those A/E firms applying must submit 9 copies of the following information:

  1. A completed current Capital Development Board SF255 certification.
  2. Indentification of prior experience designing similar type facilities.
  3. Size and background of firm.
  4. Commitment of principal(s) or partner(s) involvement and make up of the project team.
  5. User references for work the firm completed during the past 5 years.
