for on-line support services. The goal of SIU School of Medicine is to provide internet service to preceptors and other School of Medicine participants (estimated 225 accounts). It is estimated that a contract will take effect on November 1, 1999 and extend for the period through June 30, 2000, with an option to renew for an additional one-year period (July 1, 2000 - June 30, 2001). The contractor will provide unlimited internet dialup access at 56Kbps or greater to preceptors and other School of Medicine participants as identified by the University. The internet service provider will provide pass-through "radius" (or equivalent) authentication to an SIU School of Medicine authentication server, allowing the School of Medicne to maintain accounts, passwords, etc., without provider intervention.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
