for professional services of architects and engineers. Bids are being solicited for architects and engineers for a funded CDB project to improve data communication wiring, install 4 variable frequency drives on air handling units and correct lighting deficiencies in two areas in the building located at 801 North Rutledge St., Springfield, IL.

Services will include designing needed changes, prepare construction drawings and specifications, and oversee the bid and construction process. Funding is being held by the Capitol Development Board (CDB), who will issue all architectural and engineering contracts based on the recommendation of SIU School of Medicine.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
