The University requests qualified contractors to submit proposals for replacement or upgrade of telephone services located at the Springfield, IL, facilities, comprised of administrative, academic and outpatient healthcare facilities in sixteen buildings in greater Springfield. The facilities are currently served by Centrex, with a total of approximately 1,300 lines. Station equipment includes several different PBX, electronic and electromechanical key systems, both owned and leased. A manditory pre-proposal meeting will be held on June 13, 2000, to discuss the content of the RFP and answer any proposer's questions. A tour of the facilities will follow the meeting. Proposals from firms not in attendance at the pre-proposal conference will NOT be considered.
