Project Description
Medical Transcription Services are required for the Family Practice Residency Program in Carbondale, IL during the period 7/1/01 - 6/30/02 with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. Timely and accurate transcription services are required within 48 hours or less from the time of dictation from the providers to the time the dictation is printed for Carbondale, IL. The transcriptionist(s) should have a medical terminology background and be familiar with medical abbreviations, and types of medications. They should also be familiar with problem oriented medical record and SOAP format. Vendors must describe, including the company's guality assurance plan, the number of employees and their experience in providing transcription services.
