Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University hereby requests letters of interest from architects/engineers to provide professional services for the following School of Medicine project:
Replace 33,000 square feet of roof on the Medical Instructional facility, 801 N. Rutledge Street, Springfield, Illinois.
Project Name: 801 Phase II Roof Replacement
Project Budget: $425,000

Only those firms, which meet the following qualifications, will be considered for selection:
- Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
- Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB)
The following project-related criteria will be used to evaluate the consulting firms requesting consideration for selection:
- Prior firm experience with similar projects
- Appropriate staff size and disciplines
- Prior performance of firm and its consultants with completed projects at Southern Illinois University and with other State Higher Educational Institutions
Consulting firms should submit seven copies of their letter of interest, documentation of qualifications, and current CDB Form 255.
