for web page design (Request # RFP177).

SIU School of Medicine is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the development/design, hosting and maintenance of a secure web-based distance learning site.

The Illinois Department of Human Services and The Hope School have contracted with the University's School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry to assist in the development of the statewide Autism Project. One of the deliverables for the project is the development and maintenance of a new website that provides opportunities for parents and professionals to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorders. The website will include a learning site (web-based distance learning site) where professionals will be able to work through actual case studies of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Department of Psychiatry wishes to subcontract the design, hosting and maintenance of these services since this application will be a secure web-based learning site utilized by professionals and family members on a statewide basis.
