The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the renovations for research labs at 911 North Rutledge project .

The project is for remodeling for the development of four research laboratories and an equipment storage room on the Second Level of the building located at 911 North Rutledge Street, Springfield, Illinois. Contracts will be awarded for the following trades: general (RFQ166), HVAC (RFQ167), plumbing (RFQ168), electrical (RFQ169), and fire protection (RFQ170). The 2:00 p.m. bid opening on Thursday, April 10, 2003 applies to general contractors. The deadline for bids submitted for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection are due no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2003.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked renovations for research labs at 911 North Rutledge. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 10, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
