The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the replacement of cooling coils project (Bid # RFQ199).

This project is for the replacement of cooling coils and related condensate drip pans in the building located at 825 North Rutledge Street, Springfield, Illinois. The project also includes the addition of strainers to the supply side of the coils for additional protection and rebalancing of the secondary chilled water system.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked replacement of cooling coils. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, December 23, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

• All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2003 in the Lincoln Conference Room on the Second Floor of the building located at 801 North Rutledge Street, Springfield, Illinois.
