Comments:
The awarded vendors won both Category 1 and Category 2. The combined award estimate for the initial term is $16 Million. The combined award estimate for potential future renewals is $32 Million. These estimates are based off of historical spend for strategic and financial planning services and are not a guaranteed spend under the proposed award.

This award is to a qualified pool of vendors as allowed under 4.2036 b). Since it is not known which transactions each awardee will receive during the initial term, no award amount estimate is being provided for individual awardees.

This award is subject to University of Illinois Board of Trustees approval.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The University of Illinois System ("University") seeks to retain the expertise of consultants ("Vendors") as needed for strategic and financial planning, and other related projects. It is anticipated that multiple awards will result from this RFP. The initial term will begin on or about August 1, 2018 and end June 30, 2021 with the option to renew for two (2) additional three-year periods at the same terms and conditions based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds. There is no guarantee of maximum utilization or expenditure with any successful respondent during the contract period.

There will be a pre-proposal conference. Participation is not required; however, it is strongly recommended. Further information is provided in Section 1.5 of the solicitation document.

Submit 6 copies of the response as defined in the specifications. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. There is a BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details. The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
