The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois on behalf of the Illinois Public Higher Education Cooperative (â??IPHECâ??) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide express, air and ground small package delivery and transportation services on an as needed basis for an initial period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013, with the option to renew for one additional three year period, and two additional two year periods at the same terms and conditions based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds.
It is the intention of IPHEC to establish a prime or co-prime contract arrangement to ensure that IPHEC has experienced firms to provide essential shipping services required by the participating IPHEC member institutions. Respondents must have e-commerce capability as described in the RFP specifications. The services requested will be utilized by participating IPHEC members throughout Illinois.
