The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP 1SLD1208) is to establish a contract, or contracts, to provide computer components, peripherals, and accessories as outlined in the attached specification document. This agreement is designed to offer flexibility in product selection from a large number of manufacturers of computer components, peripherals, and accessories, as well as competitive pricing and premier service, with the greatest array of value-added services.
The University of Illinois requires the furnishing and delivery of computer components, peripherals, and accessories for the three year period commencing upon contract execution (on or around November 1, 2012); and extending for approximately three years; with an option provided to renew the contract on November 1, 2015, for two additional two-year renewal periods for a total of no more than seven years. This contracted term and renewal term(s) are at the sole discretion of the University based on continuing need, performance, and availability of funds.
Respondents should read the RFP 1SLD1208 carefully and respond to each of the requested items with a detailed narrative describing how it will meet the requirements identified. Questions for clarification will be accepted by the Project Contact until close of business day (5:00 PM Local Time), July 5, 2012. All responses to questions will be issued in the form of an addendum on the Procurement Bulletin, after the close of the submission date for clarifications. Clarification questions that are received after close of business, July 5, 2012, may not be considered for clarification.
