At this time, the University is awarding to these three previously awarded vendors for the two additional categories which were not awarded on June 15, 2018. The categories are Category 8 - Operational, Clinical, Transactional, Educational and Research Regulatory Compliance and Category 12 - Public & Private Third Party Payer Billing, Payment, and Reimbursement. Awards were made by category with primary and secondary awardees. The estimated award amounts are by category and allocated in this notice to both the primary and secondary awardee in total since it is not known at this time which awardee will receive individual transactions under the award. See the Updated_Awardees_By_Category document attached for the breakdown of awards by category and estimated award amounts. The award amounts for these two categories are in addition to the amounts previously published in the award published on June 15, 2018.

The University has also updated the document titled Updated_1SLE1801_Additional_Award_Information to identify Business Enterprise Program (BEP) vendors who submitted proposals which may be available for potential subcontracting opportunities.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The Office of Strategic Procurement, on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, and on behalf of the Office of University Counsel, requests proposals from responsible vendors to provide legal counsel for health care advice, and related services in a variety of health care and life sciences subject categories, on an as-needed basis.
A multiple award, and subsequent contracts are anticipated for legal services for each category identified in this solicitation. A primary and secondary award may be made for each of the twelve (12) categories. One category of General Health Care has been set aside for awards to small businesses.
The initial term of this procurement is for four (4) years from time of contract upon the last dated signature of the parties. The initial term is estimated from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2022. The resulting contract will contain a renewal option for one (1) renewal option of four (4) years approximately from 07/01/2022 through 06/30/2026 at the same terms and conditions as the original contract. Any renewal options are based on continuing need, favorable market conditions, and in the best interest of the University.
