The University awarded a contract for Software Support and Hosting to Image Trend, Inc., Lakeville, MN, for an estimated $65,000.
The University of Illinois System has a need for Software Support and Premium Hosting for the HireTouch Applicant Tracking System which is a proprietary product of Image Trend, Inc. and is managed through the University Department of Administrative Information Technology Services (AITS). The need for this program has grown since first awarded under a competitive Request for Proposal 1NRC807. Since that time the University has built a significant amount of processes in HireTouch and has added a number of enhancements to modify the product for the University's needs. The end result of the University hosting this software has allowed AITS to customize HireTouch for each campus (UIUC, UIC, UIS, and System Offices) to meet their needs.
The University, on information and belief, has concluded that only one vendor can meet its need or can meet the need economically. The vendor is Image Trend, Inc. The University has provided detailed justification to support its conclusion as shown on the attached Sole Source Justification Form.
Although the University has presented this as a sole source procurement, we are seeking competitive information from firms with the capability of meeting the University's need (even if performed in a manner different from what has been presented) to contact us and provide sufficient information to show that the need can be met. If we receive that information, the Chief Procurement Officer will offer a public hearing to consider the matter. Hearing Information is described below:
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the procurement is software license, upgrade or maintenance. Hire Touch Applicant Tracing System is a proprietary product of Image Trend, Inc.
