The University awarded a contract for paired kidney donation matching software to National Kidney Registry, Babylon, IL, for an estimated $270,000.
This purchase is for proprietary software to facilitate paired kidney donation matching.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the procurement is software license, upgrade or maintenance. This purchase is a sole source because the vendor's proprietary software provides features and support that are not offered by any other vendor.

Written comments may be submitted in lieu of or in addition to oral testimony. All such comments shall be considered public record and open to review by the public. Written comments must be received no later than May 2, 2011.

Any party who wishes to testify must register in advance to guarantee an opportunity to testify. Individuals who have not registered in advance may be heard, time permitting, at the discretion of the Hearing Officer. An individual will be heard only once on a particular item.
