The University awarded a contract for Frequency Resolved Optical Grating (FROG) to Laser-Laboratorium Gottigen (LLG), Gottingen, Germany, for an estimated $55,000.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
Frequency Resolved Optical Grating (FROG) from Laser Laboratorium Gottingen (LLG) is the only equipment on the market that is Group Velocity Dispersion Free (GVD-Free) in which the laser beam does not pass through any of the optics, which is required for the department's research.
