The University awarded a contract for rental of event space and catering services to Museum Science and Industry, Chicago, IL, for an estimated $63,565.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics, is hosting the 2008 Linear Collider Workshop and the International Linear Collider meeting from November 16 - November 20, 2008 at the UIC Forum. This dinner meeting at the Museum of Science is the only scheduled evening event.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
The Museum of Science and Industry is the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere with over 14 acres of unique hands-on exhibits providing an outstanding
venue that is opening exclusively for this evening event.
