The University awarded a contract for repair services for ruptured hot water line..
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate repairs were needed to prevent further loss or damage to University property.
The hot water return line from the Transportation Building to the Police Station ruptured. The pipe leak will lose about 10,000 gallons of water per day until the leak was repaired. Consequently a Contractor was immediately contacted for excavation and trench work to repair the rupture.
