The University awarded a contract for membership fee for maintenance and admin services to University of Georgia Research Foundation, Athens, GA, for an estimated $152,474.
The membership fee for maintenance and administrative services for access to the beam line.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
University of Illinois at Chicago is a member of Southeast Regional Collaborative Access Team (SERCAT). Being member of SERCAT provides the University with beam time on the instrument at the Argonne National Laboratory to conduct research.
