The University awarded a contract for education game development to Circle 1 Network, Milwaukee, WI, for an estimated $65,000.
This purchase is for Circle 1 Network to create, test, train and host an educational game in conjunction with grant specifications.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the purchase is for a stand alone educational game, and supporting professional training to create an innovative trial in nutrition education and fitness. Since it is a new program in education it is unique in its offerings. Currently there are no comparable systems in the marketplace. While the software makes use of existing systems, the educational game will be built to provide maximum flexibility for use. A USDA pass through to IDHS grant has provided the funding for this purchase.
