The University awarded a contract for Radiation Oncology services.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which
immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
Radiation Oncology services fro the University of Chicago Medical Center were necessary for continual patient radiation therapy services to inpatient and outpatients on a 24/7 basis. In addition, the services provide radiation oncology research assistance. This emergency purchase will allow the continuity of services until the Sole Source procurement request is prepared and submitted for approval.
