The University awarded a contract for transcription services to Bureau of Office Services, for
an estimated $50,000
The Department of Opthalmology and Visual Sciences physicians will use this service to dictate patient notes into a dictating machine. The dictating machine is set into a port that takes 30 seconds to download the information into the transcriptionist's computer, which results into immediate transcription of information.
