The University awarded a contract for a software interface to Cerner Physician Practice, North Kansas City, MO, for an estimated $30,500.
The software interface will allow the College to interface with Cerner's Millennium software used at the Medical Center to create electronic health records for their patients. Cerner Ideal is the practice management software currently in place at the College of Medicine at Rockford.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
