The University awarded a contract for equipment and migration services to Cerner Corporation, Kansas City, MO, for an estimated $2,500,000.
These equipment and migration services will migrate the existing Cerner Patient Care System and Millennium Electronic Medical Record (EMR) applications to the Unix operating system platform.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
