The University awarded a contract for experience surveying patient, employee & physician.
This Cooperative purchase is made in accordance with 30 ILCS 525, 30 ILCS 500/25-15(b) and 44 ILL. Admin. Code 4.2036(e).
Press Ganey is the nation?s largest comparative database of patient experience benchmarking of Academic Medical Centers (AMC), that includes analytics and statistical tools (correlation coefficient, mean, sample size, comparative benchmarking), patient experience tools, best practices, forum for advanced patient education and research/literature, and also is a vendor that supports employee and physician satisfaction reporting. Press Ganey offers various modes for experience surveying (patient, employee, and physician), including telephonic, mail, and e-mail. Press Ganey is an approved administrator to maintain compliance with federally mandated Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey (HCAHPS) that is required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The process of Medicaid reimbursement requires the services provided under this agreement to fulfill the legal reporting requirements of Medicaid. It is there for critical that the use of this contract be authorized.
