The University awarded a contract for Operating Room Surgeries, Clinics, Rounding, Call to Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation d/b/a Northwestern Medical Group (NMG), Chicago, IL, for an estimated $220,000.
Enhanced Patient Care. Critical service needed in conjunction with existing services. Cannot recruit faculty at full FTE due to current patient volumes. However, purchasing those services at 40% FTE is economical for the Dept and will help the Institution achieve its goal of superior patient care.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the request to procure extremely specialized surgical services needed at part-time rate to complement and enhance existing surgical services provide.
