The University awarded a contract for landing website, map application, & platform.
Landing website, map application, and platform. The website, map application and platform are included in the scope of work to deliver to the Illinois Department of Human Services, in support of the State's Census Outreach efforts, to ensure a complete count of the population. The webtool will be used by regional intermediaries, their subsidiaries, and the public.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) It is in the best interest of the University to procure with this vendor as they will provide an specific service to complete the project under the Illinois Department of Human Services(IDHS) grant H7475.
