The University awarded a contract for Amnis FlowSight® Image Stream cytometer to EMD Millipore Corporation, Billerica, MA, for an estimated $99,000.
Purchase a Amnis FlowSight® Image Stream cytometer as it's unique specifications and patented features are the only cytometer that can fulfill the researcher's needs.
The Amnis is unique in that it has the only platform on the market that utilize time delayed integration for image capture of cells while they are in flow. No other platform that is currently available has equal image capture rates or image resolution. Likewise, analysis software developed by Amnis allows for the in depth study of biological systems. This facilitates experimental analysis that is currently not able to be evaluated by any other platform. It is also noteworthy to indicate that the Amnis FlowSight is a tabletop unit.
The patented technology, upon which the Amnis Imaging Cytometer are built, facilitates a unique approach to cellular analysis. These patented features are what allow for the high speed collection of cellular information along with the images of each individual captured cell, This combined information can then be analyzed providing insight into the complex inner workings of the cell, including, but not limited to, internalization of objects, cell-cell interactions, cell morphology analysis, detection of rare events (i.e., circulating tumor cells), and multi-parameter approaches to cellular analysis. No other available technology offers this capability.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the item or service is copyrighted or patented and is not available except from the holder of the copyright or patent.
