The University awarded a contract for Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) consulting to Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI), Wheaton, IL, for an estimated $36,000.
Purchase of consultant services from Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI)to start a medical house call program so that University healthcare providers can be trained to implement internally.
The Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) is the only organization in the country that assists health systems to create house call programs. This conclusion results after networking and colloborative relationships (such as, AMA, IHA, Advisory Board and several other membership groups) were surveyed. Modern house calls are a new concept that have not been taught both from a practice management and clinical perspective. HCCIâs knowledge is unique and developed. To attempt to create the program on our own would be significantly more expensive.
Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) brings expertise and experience in start-up house call programs with neighboring healthcare entities, Rush University Medical Center, University of Chicago and Northwestern Medicine.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the The Home Centered Care Institute (HCCI) is the only organization in the country that assists health systems to create house call programs.
