The University awarded a contract for plans for sponsorships, marketing, & engagement.
4Front will provide strategic road maps designed to help UIC Athletics execute and maximize corporate sponsorships, marketing, revenue generation, and engagement opportunities. 4Front will assist with developing a new brand profile as well as provide a strategic communications plan to help UIC Athletics align and capitalize on marketing and earned media opportunities.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) This purchase will allow the UIC athletic department grow its corporate sponsorship partnership base, increase exposure in the Chicagoland area, provide an expanded marketing platform to showcase Flames athletic and special events and assist in efforts to increase ticket sales for men?s basketball.
