The University awarded a contract for human cadavers and brains to The Anatomical Gift Association, Chicago, IL for an estimated $116,670.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the Anatomical Gift Association is a chartered non-profit organization. The Board of Directors is comprised of faculty members from medical schools in Chicago, including the University of Illinois at Chicago. The estimated expenditure is calculated by multiplying the estimated number of units by the unit price bid. Actual expenditures may vary based upon actual quantity usage. The cadavers and brains will be used in teaching anatomy and cell biology.
