The University awarded a contract for Advanced hemodynamic monitoring system.
Advanced hemodynamic monitoring system that help identify physiologic changes that may lead to critical complications.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) The current EV1000s are obsolete and at the end of life. The service contract has expired and can no longer be serviced. Two of the current EV1000s are not working properly in Anesthesia and need to be replaced as soon as possible.
