The University awarded a contract for study abroad in Siena, Italy to Societa Dante Alighieri - Comitato di Siena, Siena, Italy, for an estimated $240,000.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the
contractor will provide educational services at its Italian campus to include housing, classroom space, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) academic programing and curriculum implementation, educational excursions, transportation to Florence, Italy from Siena, and support services for UIC undergraduate students participating in the Italian Language and Culture Program in Siena.
