The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Chicago hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the islet cell isolation laboratory project.
The project consists of construction of a cleanroom in the basement of the UIC Medical Center. The construction divisions consist of general, plumbing, heating, refrigeration and temperature control work, ventilation, electrical, and cleanroom work.
Bid documents may be obtained from the architect/engineer by depositing a check in the amount of $100 for each set made payable to GFGR, Inc.

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked islet cell isolation laboratory. Bids will be received up to the hour of 1:30 PM local time, on Monday, March 20, 2000. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

The University will hold a pre-bid conference/site visit at 1140 South Paulina in the first floor conference room on Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at 1:30 PM Central Time. Representatives of the University and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
