Change Order
Published Wednesday April 25, 2012
Vendor: Biotronic Midwest Inc.
Change Order Amount: $100,000

The purpose of this announcement is to modify the amount estimated at the beginning of the term. The original estimated amount of $400,000 was split awarded between Insight Neural Monitoring and Biotronic Midwest Inc based on 18 cases per month. Actual expenditures are never 100% predictable because they vary as a function of projected data and that information that has significantly changed in three ways: First, internal hospital neural monitoring staffing declined. Second, the number of surgical cases increased from 18 per month to 35 per month. Third, Insight Neural Monitoring was acquired by SpecialtyCare, Nashville, TN.. SpecialtyCare staff in the Chicago area was subsequently reduced.
The Change Order amount revisions are made to assure adequate contractor resources while a new RFP is developed and awarded.
