The University awarded a contract for Annual Power of Nursing Leadership event.
Power of Nursing Leadership Event is a self-supporting annual workshop hosted by the College of Nursing to celebrate and showcase the impact of Illinois nurse leaders in shaping health care. This is a high-profile function attended primarily by hospital and healthcare system executives including nurse leaders and othersenior administrators, staff nurses, and representatives of professional and corporate entities that support nursing leadership and this event. A highlight of the event is the the presentation of the Illinois Outstanding Nurse Leader Award.This event is exclusively paid for by revenues generated by the event.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof.
