The University awarded a contract for OSF Healthcare Pediatric Medical services .
The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Peoria, IL has provided funds to University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria for services of it’s Pediatric Medicine unit involving Hematology and Oncology. The University of Illinois must obtain some related services from OSF Healthcare System to fulfill the services.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
