The University awarded a contract for fire restoration services.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate repairs were needed to prevent further loss or damage to University property.
An ongoing roofing replacement project at the College of Medicine-Rockford South Building led to a torch fire that ignited wood structure beneath the metal flashing. Although the fire was quickly extinguished the smoke damage to the building required immediate restoration services.
