The University awarded a contract for Northwestern Medical Group.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
The emergency is due to the urgent need for Medical Practice Specialty Services to be provided by OB/GYN physicians that are board eligible, board certified, and licensed physicians in perinatology (Practice Specialist) who have training, expertise, knowledge, and qualifications to provide medical coverage and who are members in good standing of the Hospital's Medical Staff with privileges to provide Practice Specialty services at the University of Illinois Hospital.
