The University awarded a contract for marketing strategy for UIC Athletics.
4Front will provide strategic roadmaps designed to help UIC Athletics execute and maximize marketing, revenue, and engagement opportunities around its partnership with Adidas and Navy Pier Game. 4Front will provide a strategic communications plan to help UIC Athletics align and capitalize on marketing and earned media opportunities. 4Front will develop and execute a digital/social ticket sales strategy around UIC Men's Basketball Season. 4Front will provide tactical strategies to attract more students, young alumni, and families to games.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) This purchase will allow the UIC Athletic Department to grow its corporate sponsorship partnership base, increase exposure in the Chicagoland area, provide an expanded marketing platform to showcase Flames athletic and special events, and assist in efforts to increase season tickets for men's basketball.
