This contractor will provide professional services for the provision of researching and posting approximately 10,000 "unidentified" aging accounts receivable physician fee items through June 30, 2001. Blackman Kallick Bartelstein, LLP scored the highest in the technical proposal evaluation out of the four bidders. The Medical Practice Plan evaluation committee also conducted interviews of the two top bidders and called references provided for each firm.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The College of Medicine, Medical Practice Plan is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services to post existing "unidentified" aging accounts receivable physician fee items. There are approximately 10,000 items to be identified by June 30, 2001, for the period April 23, 2001 or from date of signing of the contract if later, through June 30, 2002. This contract will have an option to renew for two additional one-year periods at the same terms and conditions based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds.

Proposer is required to submit a program plan to accomplish the work within the University's timeframe. Proposer must submit substantiating information identified in the Request for Proposal. (Submitted by Thomas L. Gardner, State Purchasing Officer.)
