for consulting services related to billing and collections for chemotherapeutic & anti-emetic drugs and compounds for the UIC Department of Medicine Hematology Oncology Section. The successful proposer shall provide consultative services on billing and collection policies and procedures involving chemotherapeutic and anti-emetic drugs and compounds; assess and recommend improvements to currently used billing systems; provide documentation of recommended billing and collection processes and procedures in the form of a training manual; provide advice on proper staffing patterns for all aspects of billing and collections processes; and conduct initial training sessions including but not limited to the design of data entry procedures for the improved processes in patient registration, physician coding and documentation practices, and billing in relation to the use and administering of chemotherapeutic and anti-emetic drugs and compounds with the goal of a higher rate of collection and/or faster rate of accounts receivable collection to clinical departments in the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine Department of Medicine Hematology Oncology Section.
A proposer must respond to specific questions regarding its experience in billing and collections.
