a contract for a HealthQuest Reveivables Workstation License to
McKesson Information Solutions, L.L.C., Chicago, IL
for
$233,663.
This will be a one-time purchase of HealthQuest Receivable Workstation license with the option to purchase software maintenance and support services for the period February, 2006 through June 30, 2007. The HealthQuest Receivables Workstation License will provide additional functionality to the HealthQuest Patient Accounting system that is currently in place. The additional functionality will allow collectors to increase productivity and will generate approximately $3.4 million in addtional revenues for the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago. The software is copyrighted and available only from McKesson.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
